The Erzya corpus contains a historical word list of Erzya Mordvin documented in 1785. The list of words was transliterated, compiled, and edited by Dennis Estill.\n\n2. The Moksha Mordvin corpus contains a historical word list of Moksha Mordvin documented in 1785. The list of words was transliterated, compiled, and edited by Dennis Estill.\n\nThe Erzya and Moksha Mordvin Word Lists contain approx. 23,500 words in Erzya and 300 words in Moksha collected at the initiative of Catherine the Great under the direction of Bishop Damaskin and recorded in 1785. Two copies of the manuscripts are extant, the so-called black version for Catherine now preserved in St Petersburg, and the white version at present kept in Nyizhnyi Novgorod. These manuscripts were published in 1971 by A. P. Feoktistov in \"Russko-mordovskiy slovar, Iz istorii otechestvennoy leksikografii, Izdatelstvo Nauka, Moskva. (Dennis Estill 1999). Feoktistov, A. P. "en": "This corpus will be available in Kielipankki - the Language Bank of Finland (lat.csc.fi), under CLARIN RES+PLAN+NC+PRIV license (see http://urn.fi/urn:nbn:fi:lb-2015041303) Personal permission is required in order to access the corpus. The purpose of the resource use must be outlined in a research plan. Access rights are limited due to personal data protection issues.\n\nThe corpus contains interviews with people of different ages born in Helsinki. The data was collected in three decades: 1972-74, 1991-92 and 2013. The material consists of about one hour long audio recordings of individual interviews. Although the interviews don’t contain exactly the same questions, they deal with the same topics: school, work and hobbies related issues of the interviewees, as well as their lives in general in Helsinki. In addition to this the interviews contain questions related to the interviewees’ perception of the languages and language forms spoken in Helsinki.\n\nThis version of the corpus contains updated and new transcripts for a number of the original recordings. The audio files have not been updated since the first corpus version, i.e., the audio files and all the unmodified transcripts are also incorporated in version 2.0. Work on the transcription, alignment and thematic coding of the corpus is planned to continue in the future.\n\nThe corpus should be referred to in the following way:\n\nThe Longitudinal Corpus of Finnish Spoken in Helsinki, decade, informant’s code (if applicable). Examples:\n\n- The Longitudinal Corpus of Finnish Spoken in Helsinki, 1970s subcorpus, version 2, F60\n- The Longitudinal Corpus of Finnish Spoken in Helsinki, 1990s subcorpus, version 2\n\nThe informant’s code should be marked if concrete text examples of the corpus are given.\n\nImportant: due to the nature of the material, the resource should be handled with care in order to respect the privacy of the people concerned. If samples of the data are published, they must be anonymized according to best practices."

"en": "This resource is available via Korp in Kielipankki – the Language Bank of Finland.\n\nThe corpus consists of Finnish newspapers and magazines starting from 1771 up to 2021, compiled by the National Library of Finland.\n\nFor this new version, the data of the previous version (Finnish and Swedish) was checked with the HeLI-OTS language identifier. Parts of texts, which do not contain Finnish, were removed from this corpus. On the other hand, texts from the Swedish part of KLK, which contain Finnish, where added to this corpus.\n\nThe new version consists of text elements, where at least one sentence element was identified as being in Finnish, from these three sources:\n\n - KLK-fi, version 1 (http://urn.fi/urn:nbn:fi:lb-2016050302)\n - KLK-sv, version 1 (http://urn.fi/urn:nbn:fi:lb-2016050301)\n - new data from the National Library (not previously available in the Language Bank, may cover any time period, just more recently OCR'd)\n\nThe text elements are enriched with a 'version_added' attribute, which identifies the source.\n\nFor a listing of the newspapers and magazines contained in this resource, please see the Documentation."

The following text types are represented in the corpus: academic texts, literature, childrens' literature, biography, popular literature and fiction, detective fiction and popular science.\n\nThe paragraphs have been scrambled within each text.",

"en": "Opusparcus is a paraphrase corpus for six European languages: German, English, Finnish, French, Russian, and Swedish. The paraphrases are extracted from the OpenSubtitles2016 corpus, which contains subtitles from movies and TV shows. \n\nThe data in Opusparcus has been extracted from OpenSubtitles2016 (http://opus.nlpl.eu/OpenSubtitles2016.php) which is in turn based on data from http://www.opensubtitles.org/.\n\nFor each target language, the Opusparcus data have been partitioned into three types of data sets: training, development and test sets. The training sets are large, consisting of millions of sentence pairs, and have been compiled automatically, with the help of probabilistic ranking functions. The development and test sets consist of sentence pairs that have been annotated manually; each set contains approximately 1000 sentence pairs that have been verified to be acceptable paraphrases by two annotators.\n\nOpusparcus is available for download at the Language Bank of Finland. The README file in the download folder contains detailed descriptions of the data sets. \n\nPlease cite the following paper in any work that utilizes any part of the Opusparcus corpus.\n\nMathias Creutz (2018).
